Security at the Airport
Santiago’s international airport, Arturo Merino Benitez, delivers a maximum level of security and confidence to its passengers. Inside the airport there is the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC), which is responsible for the security in the country and in this case of airports and airfields, establishing security measures and procedures, which are applied both on land and in flight to protect the aircrafts, passengers, cargo, mail and supplies.
