Apps to decorate and furnish my apartment
One of the first things that is recommended to do when changing apartments is to draw the plan of your new space before starting to decorate and buy furniture, since many times you do it in reverse and the results are not as expected. With this post we invite you to put aside the pencil and paper to welcome the technology. We present three free mobile applications that will help you measure rooms, try different decoration styles and see how your future furniture could look.
- Houzz: This application is known as the queen of interior and exterior design, as it contains more than nine million high-resolution photographs and categorized by the style of decoration you choose or by the space of your apartment that you want to design as your room, living room or kitchen. In addition, thanks to the Sketch function included in the app you can use images from the platform (or own photos) to add elements to your decoration project and see how they would look, even making notes in the photo. What better!
- Roomle: Unlike the previous application, this app is to start decorating and furnishing your apartment. You can draw a sketch of the concrete space that you want to start designing and planning your decoration by adding windows, furniture, ornaments, walls, etc. At the end of drawing you can visualize the final result in 3D.
- MagicPlan: Last but not least, this third application is used to measure the distances of a room with a single photograph and on this to draw the plan, that is, you can make plans and take measurements without needing a pencil, sheets or prior knowledge. After this, you can start placing furniture and objects to get an idea of how the decoration of your apartment would look.
