Collectives in Santiago

Collectives

Another common mean of transportation in Santiago de Chile are the group taxis, which are shared by 4 persons. Once at 4 passengers, the driver begins his journey. In general the distance and prices are set individually. They are cheaper compared to taxis and usually wait outside the major subway stations and elsewhere in central Santiago.

The collective taxis distinguish themselves by being completely black with a small sign on the roof.
